Spectra lenses are still some of the best!
My Sly only fogs my glasses. I have gone back to proflex's until I can get an E Flex
Captain Insensi
Okkkkkkkkkayyy....
Took a while to read all of the advice. I'm going to give my own.
Masks:
Absolutely agree on a mask being a #1 priority. If you can't see well you aren't going to have fun. Period. I saw I4s mentioned. Good masks. Too small for my liking, but they work well. They are also really pricey. In my experience the JT Spectra lense masks are where it's at. The Eflex is new and while a tad pricey, it's totally awesome. You can get the same quality lense in a different mask with a JT Flex 8. It's affordable and just plain fantastic in terms of function. Oh, and they'er only about $50 on Hustle:

Tanks:
If you are going to be playing at a field that does all day air you actually don't need to make a huge investment in a tank right off the bat. I'd suggest HPA over CO2 to a new player simply because Co2 is much less stable and unless you know how it will intereact with particular setups and in particular temperatures you can have your day wrecked. You can pick up an aluminum HPA tank for under $60 that will give you a decent shot count. Like this 62ci G.A. tank:

Markers:
I used to always recomend Tippmanns to newer players but with the release and feedback of the eNMEy I think I'll change my tune. for under $130 you get a really nice little shooter that outperforms other markers in it's pricerange. Even though it's a mech it is easy to shoot fast, is reliable, and consistant.

Hopper:
You can dump a ton of money into a top of the line hopper, but you don't need to, especially at the beginner level. under $15 get's you a Proto Primo. A battery free hopper that feeds almost as well as a 9V revvy. I've had one for a few years and swear by them with my mechs.

Now, when and if you decide to 'up your game' you'll have a better understanding after getting to that point about what you want, what kind of feel you like out of a gun, and what a comforatble setup means to you. You can upgrade and then have a good reliable backup setup all ready to go.

Congrats on getting Jeremy for Coach. Very knowledgeable. like I said keep the guns up at the bunkers, stay square to them and check your lanes if your gun fighting. most important guys is have fun ( win or lose). Once you are not having fun is when you need to change things up.
