That's a really cool mod, I'm really impressed with the look of it.
I've modded a Tippmann SL68II to look more like a a shotgun and be easier to conseal when we play infiltration games.
Getting rid of the hopper was really nice and since the SL68 can take a beating you don't have to be afraid to break it if you drop it.
I didn't spend a lot of time and effort on this mod since it's not a gun I plan to play very often with, but once in a while it feels good to go out on the field with nothing but the marker and maybe 25 extra balls!
The upper tube slides on to the rails behind where the hopper used to be and holds about 25 rounds. After taking the hacksaw to the feedneck I made a new hole straight from the top and the sides of the new mag closes the old feedneck hole.
Loading the marker is really easy, you just push the balls in in the front of the upper tube where there is a small stainless tongue that prevents the balls from rolling out.
I have a 12gram adapter or the 13ci bottle on the pictures, if I run the marker on CO2 I run out of gas about the same time I run out of ammo.
Only thing I need to fix is to drill the barrel so I can put a Ego detent to stop the balls from rolling out.

I like this mod... I've thought about doing something like this to my sl68 2
nice work![]()
Thats cool!

Very nice work. What did you use to make the "shroud" for it?
It's all metal.
Top tube is scavenged from a clothes rack 3/4" dia and the shroud is made from 1mm sheet metal.
I made a slot in the back that fits over the rail and then I welded the sheet metal on top of that covering the sides.
To disassemble the marker I take out the screws in the back and slide the whole shroud forward of the original rail. If I need to its also possible to remove the barrel without removing the shroud.

Very cool. I thought the main part was metal, but wasn't sure about the tube. It really does look like a nice old shotgun.
It looks like you got insparation from the old SO Longbow kit. Killer mod
From the photos it looks like it turned out great.![]()
