I currently only have a clear lens. I got the mask for like 70 bucks in brand new condition just because it was a display item. As of today, a Dyetanium silver lens is headed my way from Hustle.
Todd: Hey Griswold. Where do you think you're gonna put a tree that big?
Clark: Bend over and I'll show you.
Todd: You've got a lot of nerve talking to me like that Griswold.
Clark: I wasn't talking to you.

I've worn the Sly's and Dye's in the shop down my street and liked/ disliked a lot about them. I shot a few games w/ my bud's I4's and they were just a bit skinny, wore the Sly's around the shop while trying to listen about other products but couldn't really hear much since everything was muffled. BUT THEN I tried out the Grill and loved them, I've been playing with them ever since. My only real complaint is that since the company is under new management they seem to have halted research into a better lens..

Being the broken record here and agreeing with everyone else I'm going to say it's all really up to style and personal comfort. At this range I'd definitely try before you buy since you'll be dropping a pretty penny for a nice pair of goggles that will last you hopefully a long time.

    I4's > Profits IMO.

Will do my friend. I expect it in the mail tomorrow but I won't be able to really try it out until Saturday.

Mini update for Oge: The Mirrored lens looks cool for sure. Adds an intimidating look. I always used smoke lenses for that purpose but the mirrored one is even better. Caveat though, it's darker than my smoke lens so in low lighting, it could pose a problem. I also noticed that the center of the lens is darker than the sides. If I turn my head and look out the side, it's much brighter on both sides.

I'll post again after I use them at my field that has some really dark terrain and also some uphill staring into the blinding sun terrain.

I have Gold Mirror on my Grillz and I notice that I can see into the shadows a bit better than w/ a clear or smoke lens I dont know if this stands true for Dye or if it's just the Gold Mirror or if ALL Gold Mirrors are like this sense they're a base coat of Amber.

You're so strange! I don't know how you can play w/ an amber lens in bright sunlight like @ Blitz....

It's been yellow lenses for me for a while now. Everything seems crisper and movement is easier to detect in the woods. Certainly a weird sensation when you take them off after a long game, though.

Small annoyance with the mirrored lens: it reflects the inside of my mask onto the lens so I can kinda see my own mask lining on the inside of the lens. Make sense? It's only a small annoyance because you only really notice with while standing around because you have nothing better to do. Once games started I forgot all about it.
