Nice review - I can honestly say I was both excited and disappointed all at the same time with this initial re-release. On one hand I love seeing pumps being made again and these are tanks. On the other - it has a cast feedneck and slip barrel, so you have limited options there. Plus I never liked angled bottom lines and you don't have a choice here because it's integrated. Even with those criticisms, I'm happy it saw the light of day :)

I wasn't overly impressed by it, it seems kinda flimsy to me. And like Toter said, the lack of options here is a deal breaker. It's good for the price, but I want a little bit more out of my equipment.

I was holding the camera for that and hearing all those Tings was quite impressive for tech paint, slick tank, standing position and a very affordable pump. Not feature rich but easy and reliable.

I've probably said this before, but in my opinion, the angled bottomline is perfect with a 9oz CO2 tank.

That and you can't get off your butt to go get them filled. :P

I'd love it if the barrel was A5 threaded.... the other lack of options don't pose much of an issue for me, but the lack of additional barrels/boring kits makes me sad :(

I asked Bryce at Punkworks about the barrel and he said it can be freak bored. He has done this to a few of my barrels in the past and it works awesome. Think it was $35 for the service.

Yep, or most barrels can be turned down to fit the SL68 by any machine shop with a lathe.

I'm trying to remember... do Palmer's barrels fit the SL68?

Can't speak to on-hand inventory, but I'm sure they can easily make one.
